Some of the reasons for such acts are that the woman may have become burnt out emotionally and also because she and her husband are drifting apart.

Married women justify the reasons for being unfaithful by saying that they have been neglected by their husbands who don’t pay enough attention to them. Furthermore, they loathe it when their husbands take them for granted and so escape by indulging in behavior that involves having thrills.
